Whether it's a lovely walk in the country, a visit to an amazing National Trust property or a talk by an interesting expert, there's something for everyone to enjoy.

Local Walks

 

Our Sunday morning walks start at 10.30, usually on the first Sunday of each month, and are a leisurely three to four miles. We have about 15 to 20 walkers and aim to finish between 12.30 and 1.00pm. In addition, we arrange occasional evening walks in the summer.

The cost is £2.00.

Visits

 

Our visits are to many places of interest, some are National Trust properties, but not all. Follow the link for more details of what we're planning.

Friday Afternoon Talks

 

Friday afternoon talks are held at the Methodist Church Hall, Station Approach, Solihull starting at 2.00pm. Admission is £4.00 for Solihull Centre Members and £5.50 for visitors or guests of members and include interval refreshments.

Fish & Chip Quiz Night

Friday 19 April

Once again, we are organising our popular Fish and Chip Quiz night. Our quizmaster John Hubble will again be testing our knowledge on a range of topics. Teams of up to six can enter, doors open at 7pm for a prompt 7.30pm start.

 

It’s always a fun evening and even if you cannot make a team, do put the date into your 2024 diary as some teams will be put together on the day.

 

Tickets will be on sale in the New Year, and with fish and chip supper will be £15 a person. For those not requiring fish and chips this time there will be a Quiz only ticket priced
