The National Trust Solihull Centre is a group of National Trust members who want to do a bit more to help.
Did you know that the National Trust is a charity which receives no government funding and is totally reliant on its members and visitors for its income?
By joining us you can access a range of activities, and help to preserve the amazing places the National Trust looks after.
The National Trust Solihull Centre is not a place, but an association of National Trust Members and volunteers which was founded in 1974 with the purpose of promoting the work of the National Trust whilst adding an extra dimension to their National Trust membership.
The proceeds of a multitude of activities enjoyed by members over the past forty years have enabled the centre to donate over £350,000 to the National Trust Appeal Funds.
The Centre offers a full programme, including afternoon talks covering a wide range of subjects. We have frequent visits to places of interest both near and far, monthly walks and social events such as our very popular Teddy Bears’ Picnics, Wine & Cheese and Pudding Tastings and Quiz Nights.
How to Join us
The Centre always welcomes new members!
To join the Solihull Centre you need to be a member of the National Trust or an affiliated organisation, such as the National Trust of Scotland or to be in possession of a valid National Trust Volunteers Card.
The annual membership subscription is £10.00 per person or £15.00 for two people living at the same address. In return for their subscription members receive three newsletters a year which contain full details of the programme of activities, each of which entails an additional cost.
