Covid 19 - Update
Most of the National Trust's parks and gardens are now open for local visitors to enjoy the coming of spring, and plans are underway to open the undoor spaces safely as soon as Government rules allow. Visit the National Trust website for the latest information.
We at the National Trust Solihull Centre are at last able to think about resuming our activities. Everything depends, of course, on Covid restrictions, so nothing's written in stone - yet!
We hope that our walks will restart on Sunday 2nd May
A talk has been provisionally booked for 24th September
We're exploring the possiblilty of arranging visits in the summer
Even though we haven't been able to put on any of our fund-raising activities for a year, we have still managed to help the Trust in its work. Visit the How We're Helping page to find out what we've been able to contribute.
The National Trust owns some beautiful properties in our region, like Baddesley Clinton, Coughton Court and Packwood House.
By joining us you can access a range of activities, and help to preserve these amazing places!
The National Trust Solihull Centre is an association of National Trust Members and volunteers which was founded in 1974 with the purpose of promoting the work of the National Trust whilst adding an extra dimension to NT membership.
The proceeds of a multitude of activities enjoyed by members over the past forty years have enabled the centre to donate over £300,000 to the National Trust Appeal Funds.
The Centre offers a full programme, including afternoon talks covering a wide range of subjects. We have frequent visits to places of interest both near and far, monthly walks and social events such as our very popular Teddy Bears’ Picnics, Wine & Cheese and Pudding Tastings and a dedicated 200 Club with monthly prizes.
How to Join us
The Centre always welcomes new members!
To join the Solihull Centre you need to be a member of the National Trust or an affiliated organisation, such as the National Trust of Scotland or to be in possession of a valid National Trust Volunteers Card.
The annual membership subscription is £10.00 per person or £15.00 for two people living at the same address. In return for their subscription members receive three newsletters a year which contain full details of the programme of activities, each of which entails an additional cost.
